Working principle of corn flake spiral elevator
The rotation of the spiral blades pushes the corn material upward along the spiral line. Due to its own weight and the friction resistance of the casing, the material does not rotate with the spiral blades, thereby achieving the lifting and transportation of the corn.
The structure of the corn flake spiral elevator
- Screw shaft: It is the core component of the corn flaking screw elevator. It is welded with spiral blades and is responsible for driving the material to move.
- Spiral blades: usually have solid surface type, belt surface type, blade surface type, etc., and are selected according to the characteristics of the conveying material and the conveying requirements.
- Driving device: generally composed of a motor, a reducer, etc., providing power for the rotation of the screw shaft.
- Bearings: including head bearing, tail bearing and intermediate suspension bearing, used to support the screw shaft and ensure its stable rotation.
- Casing: Made of seamless steel pipe, the ends are connected to each other through flanges to protect internal components and prevent material leakage.
