Reinforced concrete biogas tank

                In terms of material properties:
Corn flakes, as a bio-based material, can improve the overall toughness of corn flake reinforced concrete biogas digesters when combined with reinforced concrete. Since corn flakes are renewable and biodegradable, this composite material is more environmentally friendly and can reduce material costs by about 30% compared to traditional reinforced concrete structures. At the same time, the addition of corn flakes increases the bending strength of concrete by 3-5 times while maintaining the compressive strength (20-50MPa), effectively resisting dynamic loads such as earthquakes.
In terms of structural advantages:
The reinforced concrete structure itself has high strength and durability. After adding corn flakes, the service life of corn flake reinforced concrete biogas digesters in humid environments can exceed 50 years. The on-site casting process makes the formwork reusable, further reducing costs. In addition, the lightweight characteristics of corn flakes (mass density of about 1900-2500 kg/m³) reduce the dead weight of the biogas digester, reduce the bearing pressure of the foundation, and improve construction efficiency. The standardized process increases the construction speed by about 30%.
Environmental benefits:
The corn flake reinforced concrete biogas digester treats livestock and poultry manure through anaerobic fermentation, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 10 tons per year (based on an 8-cubic-meter biogas digester), and provides about 15 tons of biogas fertilizer, replacing chemical fertilizers and pesticides, reducing soil and water pollution. In addition, after the concrete is removed, 85% of the steel bars can be recycled, and the corn flake residue can be used as a soil conditioner to achieve resource recycling.
Economic benefits:
In terms of construction costs, corn flakes replace part of the aggregate, reducing material costs by about 20%. In terms of operation and maintenance, the annual fuel cost is saved by about 1,200 yuan (based on an 8-cubic-meter biogas digester), and biogas fertilizer can save another 500 yuan instead of chemical fertilizers. In terms of comprehensive benefits, the annual increase in income from biogas power generation is about 800 yuan. Combined with breeding and planting, the overall return on investment (ROI) can reach more than 150%.
Product parameters of corn flake reinforced concrete biogas tank
Volume and size:
Common specifications are 6, 8, and 10 cubic meters, suitable for a family of 3-5 people, with a pool diameter of about 3 meters and a depth of 2 meters. The thickness of the pool cover is ≥250mm, and the bearing capacity of the foundation is ≥5t/m².
Material ratio:
Concrete uses cement, river sand, and pebbles in a ratio of 1.5:2:2.5. Corn flakes replace part of the aggregate, reducing the weight by about 15%. The compressive strength is ≥20MPa, and the bending strength is increased by 3-5 times.
Technical specifications:
The designed daily manure processing capacity is 3-5 pigs (or 1 cow), the fermentation temperature is 35±2℃, and the gas storage capacity is designed according to 40-60% of the daily biogas production.
Design details of corn flake reinforced concrete biogas tank
Structural design:
Cylindrical pool body + right-cut spherical dome, no movable cover, and the air guide pipe is led out from the top of the pool. The reverse arch bottom is convenient for slag discharge, and the inlet and outlet are designed with straight pipes to prevent blockage.
Application of corn flakes:
Add 5-10% corn flakes to concrete to improve toughness. The pool wall adopts double-layer reinforcement (φ8@200mm) to enhance crack resistance.
Modular components:
Precast concrete cover plate (diameter 53.5cm, thickness 10cm), built-in air guide pipe and steel handle. The outlet cover plate (100cm×60cm) is reinforced with steel bars.

IV. Maintenance of corn tablet reinforced concrete biogas digester
Daily management:
Feeding: Add 10-30% inoculum (such as biogas residue) for the first feeding, and the carbon-nitrogen ratio is 25-30:1.
Mixing: Mix 1-2 times a day to increase the gas production rate by 20-30%.
Pressure monitoring: The pressure in the pool is ≤80cm water column, and the pressure is released through the vent valve when overpressure occurs.
Safety maintenance:
Anti-leakage: Check the desulfurizer regularly (replace it every 3 months), and use soapy water to detect leaks in the pipeline.
Anti-freeze measures: Cover the insulation layer in winter, and bury the pipeline 30-50cm deep.
Pool cleaning and maintenance: Professionals are required to operate, and single people are prohibited from entering the pool to prevent the risk of suffocation.
Troubleshooting:
Insufficient gas production: Check the fermentation temperature (35±2℃) and add inoculum.
Gas leakage: Replace the aged pipeline and reseal the cover.
Blockage: Clean the inlet and outlet and dredge the air duct.
