Screw Conveyor

                - The corn flake screw conveyor has high conveying efficiency: the rotation of the spiral blades pushes the corn flakes forward, which can convey a large amount of materials in a short time and meet the continuous conveying needs of the production line.
- Good sealing: The corn flake screw conveyor adopts a sealed conveying method, which can effectively prevent the corn flakes from leaking and flying during the conveying process, avoiding material loss and environmental pollution. It is especially suitable for production environments with high requirements for sanitary conditions.
- The corn flaking screw conveyor has a simple structure: it consists of main components such as a screw shaft, blades, a trough, and a drive device. It has a relatively simple structure and is easy to install, maintain, and service, reducing the maintenance cost and downtime of the equipment.
- Adjustable conveying distance: The length of the corn flake screw conveyor can be flexibly adjusted according to the actual production site and process requirements to achieve corn flake conveying at different distances, with strong adaptability.
- Multi-point feeding and discharging: The corn flake screw conveyor can be set with multiple feeding and discharging ports during the conveying process, which is convenient for the distribution and collection of materials according to the production process, and improves the flexibility and automation of production.
- Little damage to materials: When the corn flake screw conveyor is conveying corn flakes, the friction between the material and the spiral blades and the material trough is relatively small, which can effectively reduce the breakage and damage of the corn flakes and ensure the integrity and quality of the materials.
Working Principle of Corn Flake Screw Conveyor
The motor is used to drive the spiral to rotate, and the rotating spiral blades push the corn flakes in the fixed shell to realize material transportation. The force that prevents the material from rotating with the screw conveyor blades is the material's own weight and the friction resistance of the screw conveyor casing to the material.
Structural composition of corn flake screw conveyor
- Driving device: Generally, a gear reducer is used, but other reducers can also be used, which have large torque, low noise, no oil leakage and long service life.
- Casing: Usually has a U-shaped or O-shaped casing, the U-shaped groove with spiral blades fits tightly to prevent corn flakes from spilling during transportation.
- Spiral shaft and spiral blades: Spiral blades are welded on the spiral shaft. The blade shapes include full blade type, belt blade type, paddle blade type, tooth type, etc.
- Feeding port and discharging port: Multiple feeding ports can be set according to the needs, so as to facilitate the feeding and discharging of corn flakes at different positions.
Specifications of Corn Flake Screw Conveyor
- Diameter: Commonly used ones are 140mm, 165mm, 219mm, 273mm, etc. There are also equipment with a diameter of 400mm.
- Length: Generally between 1-15 meters, can be customized according to the actual site and transportation requirements.
- Conveying capacity: The conveying capacity of different models is different. For example, the conveying capacity of CFM-U150 is 4-8m³/h, and the conveying capacity of CFM-U250 is 13-24m³/h. A screw conveyor with a diameter of 400mm and a length of 11 meters produced by Dahan Machinery can produce up to 8 tons per hour.
- Speed: For example, the speed of CFM-U150 is 50-112rpm, and the speed of CFM-U300 is 40-80rpm
- Power: The power varies according to the model and conveying length. For example, the power of CFM-U150 is 0.75kW when the conveying length is 2-5m, and 2.2kW when the conveying length is 11-15m.
