Working principle of organic fertilizer disc dryer
The wet material enters from the feeding device and falls on the top drying plate. The main shaft drives the rake arm and rake blade to rotate, so that the material moves along the spiral trajectory to the edge of the plate surface. At the same time, the heating medium passes through the hollow drying plate and the main shaft to transfer heat to the material, so that the moisture in the material evaporates. The material falls from the edge of the upper drying plate to the lower drying plate, and the above process is repeated until it is discharged from the discharge port of the bottom drying plate.

The processing capacity varies depending on the model. Generally, it can process several tons to dozens of tons of materials per hour. The diameter of the drying plate is usually around 1-6 meters. The number of layers is generally 6-30. The spindle speed is slow, usually 1-10 rpm. The power ranges from tens of kilowatts to hundreds of kilowatts depending on the size of the equipment. The temperature of the heat medium is generally 150℃-350℃.
