How it works
After the corn is cleaned and screened, it is steamed for conditioning, allowing the corn to absorb moisture and heat, gelatinize starch, and change protein structure. Then, the conditioned corn enters the corn flaking rotary press, where it is squeezed into thin flakes of uniform thickness by a pair of counter-rotating rollers.
Structural composition
